Our platform and services are actively offered to users across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and South Asia, including the United States, Canada, India, Pakistan, Switzerland, Singapore, the Philippines, and European Union member states.These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales as the primary governing law, reflecting our principal place of registration in the United Kingdom.FRC acknowledges its obligations to users across all jurisdictions in which it operates and recognises that the following legal frameworks may apply depending on your country of residence:United Kingdom — These terms comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, and all applicable FCA-aligned educational standards.United Arab Emirates — Users based in the UAE are subject to the governing frameworks of the relevant Emirates in which they are located, including compliance with UAE Federal Law and DIFC or ADGM regulatory considerations where applicable.Hong Kong — Users in Hong Kong are afforded protections under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and applicable consumer protection legislation in that jurisdiction.United States — Users in the United States are afforded protections under applicable federal and state consumer protection law. Where required by state law, additional disclosures or rights may apply. FRC complies with applicable US data protection requirements including those arising under the California Consumer Privacy Act where relevant.Canada — Users in Canada are afforded protections under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial consumer protection legislation. Quebec residents are additionally protected under Law 25, which governs the collection and use of personal information in that province.European Union — Users located within European Union member states are afforded full protections under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). FRC processes the personal data of EU residents in accordance with GDPR requirements, including lawful basis for processing, data subject rights, and cross-border transfer obligations. Users in the EU retain the right to lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority.Switzerland — Users in Switzerland are afforded protections under the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP), which governs the collection, processing, and storage of personal data. FRC processes Swiss user data in accordance with these requirements and recognises the Swiss data protection framework as equivalent in standard to that of the European Union. — Users in India are afforded protections under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. FRC processes the personal data of Indian residents in compliance with applicable Indian data protection legislation. — Users in Pakistan are afforded protections under the Personal Data Protection Bill and applicable consumer protection frameworks. FRC is committed to handling the data of Pakistani users with the same standard of care applied across all jurisdictions in which it operates. — Users in Singapore are afforded protections under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). FRC processes Singapore user data in accordance with PDPA requirements, including obligations relating to consent, purpose limitation, and data accuracy. — Users in the Philippines are afforded protections under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the regulations issued by the National Privacy Commission. FRC processes Philippine user data in accordance with these requirements. — Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to override any mandatory rights you hold as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence. Where local law provides greater protection than these terms, those local protections will apply and will take precedence to the extent required by applicable law.Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions that cannot be resolved through our internal complaints process will be referred in the first instance to mediation. Where mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise or where a user exercises rights available to them under their local consumer protection framework.
